ChowBanQ will never ask for your password or a "verification fee"

Scammers often impersonate money apps. The easiest way to catch them is to know what we will never do.

We will never ask for your password. Not by email, not by text, not on a call. Ever.

We will never ask you to pay a "fee" to unlock, release, or verify your money. Your money is never held hostage behind a payment.

We will never ask for your bank login. When you connect a bank, you do it securely through Stripe — never by handing anyone your credentials.

We will never rush you. Anyone creating urgency ("act now or lose your account") is a red flag.

If a message asks for any of these, it isn't us. Don't reply, don't pay, and let us know through the app.
