Last updated June 26, 2026. These terms govern your use of ChowBanQ. Please read them carefully and keep a copy for your records.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By opening or using a ChowBanQ account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and we'll notify you of material changes through the app or by email before they take effect.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information to open an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Deposits and balances

Funds you add are held in your ChowBanQ wallet. Card deposits are typically available instantly, while bank transfers may be held for up to three business days while they clear. Held funds are shown separately and become available automatically once the transfer settles.

4. Fees

Standard deposits, balance transfers between ChowBanQ users, and account maintenance are free. Certain optional services, such as expedited transfers, may carry a fee that we'll always disclose before you confirm the action. Our current fee schedule is available in Statements & Documents.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ChowBanQ for unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering, or to transact in prohibited goods and services. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe present a security or compliance risk.

6. Privacy

We collect and use your information to operate the service, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains in full what we collect and how we use it, and you can review the data associated with your account and request corrections at any time from your Profile.

7. Disputes and chargebacks

If you spot an unauthorized or incorrect charge, file a dispute through the app within 60 days of the transaction. We'll investigate and, where appropriate, issue a provisional credit while the case is reviewed.

8. Limitation of liability

ChowBanQ provides the service on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Closing your account

You may close your account at any time once your balance is zero and no transactions are pending. We may close or limit an account with notice, except where immediate action is required to comply with law or protect users.
